Privacy policy

This policy explains what Claistore collects, why it is needed, and the choices available to workspace owners and staff.

1. Who is responsible

Claistore is a product of Catais Inc., co-founded by Dominic Tanui and Smith Otieno. A workspace owner controls the store connections, staff access, agents, and operational records created within that workspace.

2. Information we process

We may process account details such as name and email; workspace and staff roles; connected WordPress site details; approved API scopes; agent and provider identifiers; tool calls; token counts; operation status; timestamps; device and diagnostic information.

Claistore is designed to avoid storing full customer or order data when an operation can be completed through a scoped request. Connected store credentials should be encrypted and kept server-side.

3. Why we process it

  • To authenticate people and maintain workspace access.
  • To connect approved WordPress and WooCommerce stores.
  • To execute requested operations and create an audit trail.
  • To calculate usage, budgets, reliability, and abuse signals.
  • To improve security, performance, and product usability.

4. Analytics and diagnostics

Claistore may collect aggregated interaction, device, and diagnostic information when analytics are enabled. Consent, retention, and regional controls are configured according to the users and services involved.

5. Sharing and subprocessors

Information is shared only with services required to run the selected feature, such as hosting, authentication, a connected WordPress site, or an AI provider chosen by the workspace. Each external provider has its own terms and privacy practices.

6. Retention and deletion

Workspace owners should be able to revoke a store, rotate credentials, remove staff, and delete operational records according to the applicable retention settings. Some security and billing records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal obligations.

7. Security

No service can guarantee absolute security. Claistore is designed around least privilege, encrypted credentials, revocable keys, server-side authorization, and attributed activity. Workspace owners are responsible for protecting administrator accounts and approving only necessary access.

8. Your choices

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information where applicable. You can also disable analytics through browser or consent controls, revoke a connected store, or stop using an AI provider.

9. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent through the official Claistore support channel shown in the service. Never include store credentials, customer data, or other secrets in a support request.
